           PERSONAL TRAINING

 

Personal fitness trainer is a fitness professional possessing the knowledge, skills and abilities for safe and effective exercise and fitness program design, instruction and assistance for the purpose of reaching personal health and fitness goals.

           JUDO

With over 40 years experience as a Judoka (Judo practitioner) and 22 in the British Army as a Judo & combative expert and senior instructor, the experiance I have in instructing Judo  is excelent, Judo is a useful and effective tool in physical conflicts, or as a alternative training tool for fitness. The objective is to have fun whilst learning an effective skill.

           GROUP TRAINING

 

Get fit and have fun in a Bulldog Fitness group classes designed for people of all ages and fitness levels. Enjoy the community of a group while benefiting from a highly experienced friendly and motivated instructor.            MUSCLE TONE

 

Muscle tone is a measure of a muscle's resistance to stretching while in a passive resting state.

Physiologically, muscle tone is an indicator of the body's reflex to maintain partial muscle contraction during rest, and indicates the ability of the body to avoid changes to this resting, partial contraction state of muscles. To achieve the perfect shape or to improve shape we use excersise to stimulate muscels to obtain 'Tone' working at BullDog Fitness you could see a change in just 6 to 8 weeks.

           CORE STRENGTH

 

The core is a collection of muscles which stabilize and move the spine. Close to the spine and deep inside the abdomen is the inner core, which is comprised of the diaphragm, pelvic floor, multifidi, deep cervical flexors, and transverse abdominus. These strange-sounding muscles engage first during movement or breathing to protect the spine.

The outer core muscles are also responsible for stabilizing and protecting the spine, but they also have more defined movement functions. The anterior muscles (abdominals) are the most well-known members of the outer-core assembly. Your body's core is the key to strength and fitness this is one of the main aims at Bulldog Fitness to improve functional movement and strength.
